Last Saturday night I stopped by Dead Wax Records in St.Louis, MO to see my friends Beth Bombara & John Calvin Abney perform a quiet intimate acoustic show there. They brought along friend M.Lockwood Porter who was wonderful! Just before the show I was able to catch up with John for about 30 mins to talk about his new record FAR CRIES AND CLOSE CALLS, songwriting, writing his first song and he plays “Way Out” live acoustic!
John also mentions his music video for “Way Out” which is now available! I had a very small part in the making of this, so I was excited to see it. John had asked me to us some video I shot of him and Chris Porter on stage together at Off Broadway a year ago that he used in the video. It turned out beautifully! Love this song!
