Last night I went over to Blue Lotus Recording Studio in St.Louis, MO to hang out with friend of the show Paul Niehaus & Gene Jackson. We talk all about Gene’s new record 1963 which was recorded, produced, co-written & features Paul Niehaus on several instruments.
They gave me an advance copy of the album to listen to and it’s really great! I highly encourage you to come out to Beale on Broadway in St.Louis on Friday March 10th for Gene Jackson’s album release party. They plan to play the record in its entirety. 8pm showtime!
On this episode you’ll hear Gene & Paul play “Only God Can Help Us” LIVE for Rock Paper Podcast from Blue Lotus studio. Closing out the show you’ll hear the opening track “That’s Why I Love You”. The record will be available in physical copies at the show Friday & digitally on ITunes & Spotify.
